Crocodile

The American crocodile was once on the endangered list but has recently been down listed to the threatened list. Under the Endangered Species Act(ESA). For this species to survive meant that its natural habitat was protected and monitored continuously, so other species were protected during the process. Being listed threatened means that some protection and monitoring will still continue. The Florida fish and wildlife commission still list the American crocodile endangered so that means that the crocodiles protection will be very well supported locally.
